The Canadian poker pro Timothy “Tim0thee” Adams has claimed the PokerStars Championship Prague €50,000 Super High Roller to take home the €555,000 prize money. In the heads-up for the title, Adams beat Mikita “fish2013” Badziakouski.

The play started around 12.30pm local time with Adams, Badziakouski and Spain’s Adrian Mateos battling it out for the title. At the start, Adams had the overwhelming lead with 6.045m chips compared to Mateos’s 1.79m and Badziakouski’s 665k. It just took an hour for the Canadian to pull off an excellent performance to claim the title.

The short stack did not stop the Belarusian Badziakouski to close in on Adams to set up the heads-up play for the title, although it did not last long as the play was one-sided and it got over in 15 minutes. The second-placed Badziakouski took home €383,600 finishing second while Adrian Mateos of Spain finished third getting his hands on €244,900.

Turkey’s Orpen Kisacikoglu finished fourth to take home €187,710, while Sam Greenwood of Canada and Koray Aldemir of Germany finished on fifth and sixth respectively claiming €147,000 and €114,300 in prizes.
