By Daniel Allermand

The Poker Mob, formerly known as the Hendon Mob, have signed an exclusive deal with the Grosvenor Casinos where they will participate in a wide range Grosvenor Poker events, both online and live. The Poker Mob, consisting of Joe Beevers and the Boatman brothers Barny and Ross will go back to where it all began for the trio and show the Grosvenor flag at the GUKPT tournament series as well as other popular tournaments around the world.

The three mobsters are well known for their Hendon Mob website, where they have a thriving community as well as results from poker tournaments all over the world. They are among the most famous poker players in the UK and have appeared on TV in series such as Late Nite Poker. Furthermore they can show off WSOP bracelets and other trophies from their success and were some of the pioneers in the UK poker scene, helping poker grow massively in the kingdom.

“It means we’ll be back playing where we began.” Beevers said and continued: The Victoria Casino is regarded as the heart of UK poker; Grosvenor is a long established name with more card rooms in the UK than anyone and we are really looking forward to working with them and visiting lots of their poker rooms, old and new.”

“It means a reconnection with the grassroots game that I love so much” Barney told to Grosvenor and his brother Ross also added: “It’s where I really began to learn my trade, so after spending many years traveling the world and using the skills I developed there, signing with Grosvenor is like coming home.”

The Poker Mob have always represented the poker game very well and with respect and have seen massive popularity due to their love of poker. But the trio are not just great ambassadors, they are also great poker players, having all won large amounts of money playing and continues to this day doing so. Grosvenor Casino hopes that the players participating in the tournaments are ready for the challenge and that they will get a great experience by meeting the mobsters.

“We’re delighted to have teamed up with the Poker Mob. They are the most influential independent voice in the UK poker fraternity, and this deal will help to cement Grosvenor as the home of UK Poker”  Rory Cartwright, Head of Online Poker for Grosvenor Casinos said.

With the new partnership between the Mob and Grosvenor, the Poker Mob have launched a brand new website called PokerMob, where players can find live tournaments from all over the world, search players and see results. The site will also feature updates from the live tournaments that the Mob participates in and offer exclusive online tournaments where GUKPT packages are up for grabs.
