Due to a lack of profits on the French market, The Partouche Group informed on Wednesday that its online poker room will be shut down for good. Patrick Partouche made the announcement himself on his Facebook account and it was also posted on the official internet site. The company was the first operator to open a poker room using the .com and .fr domain marking the history of online poker in France and through Europe. However, they are now forced to remove the company from the market mainly because poker was removed from French casinos back in September.
