Vietnam will be having a World Poker Tour (WPT) event in May this year, as the WPT is coming to the Grand Ho Tram Casino resort. The WPT event was confirmed by the president of the Grand Ho Tram casino, who is looking forward to hosting one of the world’s biggest brands in poker.
While the WPT is coming to Vietnam, there has been no reports of it is going to be a national tournament or one of the bigger international ones. There has been no reports about the event being televised or anything similar, but once we come closer to the start date, more information will be available.
The deal with Grand Ho Tram Casino comes out right after the WPT signed an agreement with Ourgame in order to get more appearance in Asia. The agreement is a licensing and promotional agreement with Ourgame who will be able to attract and market thousands of players every year.
