Ramon Colilas has earned a name for himself in a very short span of time and he has come a long way from starting with relatively unknown online and live grinder in Spain to Platinum Pass winner to being crowned as the champion of the PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold’em Championship in the Bahamas in January. Collilas made 5.1 million from it and talking about the enthralling experience, he said, “I have fulfilled one of my biggest dreams. I became champion of Spain, champion of PSPC and now I have become the representative of the best poker room. What else can I ask for?”

Ramos Colillas followed the footsteps of Chris Moneymaker and he used to idolize him and now he has got an opportunity of joining him as the ambassador of PokerStars.

“I feel privileged and honored to join Daniel Negreanu, Chris [Moneymaker] and all other members of Team PokerStars who I have admired as a fan for a very long time,” Colillas asserted. Colillas got a Platinum Pass after he topped the year-long leaderboard in the Campeonato Espana de Poker (CEP) series which was held in Spaim. He carved a niche for himself by winning the Barcelona stop but the race finally came down to the final in Peralada where he emerged victorious as other players hit the rail. “Every player thinks about being a Team pro when he starts playing poker. And, everyone wonders if he could ever get there. The tournament was an initiation for me and now I am more excited about being one of these than even winning in Bahamas.”
