Susan Saint James To Host the 11th Annual Susan Saint James Poker Tournament

Susan Saint James is hosting the 11th Annual Susan Saint James Poker Tournament to benefit Special Olympics on Sunday, September’17 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard. The event will start at 1 p.m. and will come with a $100 entry fee which entitles players to $2,000n in playing chips and post-tournament reception. It will also provide players chances to win prizes, including an overnight stay at Foxwoods.

Only 120 players can take part in the tournament, and hence it will be first-come first serve basis.

Players of all skill levels are invited to participate. The money raised from the event will support the Special Olympics Connecticut’s local program. The program provides for the athletes with all abilities all year-round sports, health and fitness programs in the communities where they live.

Susan Saint James, an active and avid supporter of Special Olympics from 1970, is a member of the Special Olympics Connecticut Board of Directors. Susan is a television actress and is widely known for her role as Kate McArdle in “Kate & Allie” and Sally McMillan in “McMillan & Wife”. The tournament has raised over $400,000 to date, to benefit Special Olympics athletes.
