After a twelve-year-long pause, the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is going to reclaim its role as a host of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit. The tournament will take place between Feb 17 – 28, 2017.

Since the summer of 2005, various other casinos, among which Caesars Palace, Bally’s and Planet Hollywood have been WSOP Circuit venues so Rio’s comeback has been long-awaited.

Here are some of the highlights of the WSOP Circuit schedule which is available on the official site of the organization.

The Rio Event will kick off on Friday, Feb 17, with a No-Limit Hold’em Unlimited Re-entry, featuring a $365 buy-in and a prize pool of $250,000. There will also be an NLHE Seniors Event on Feb 21 with a $250 buy-in, specially targeted at players over the age of 50.
