The world’s leading poker site Pokerstars, announced yesterday that they have successfully launched casino games in the Pokerstars client for the closed regulated Spanish market. The first games that Pokerstars added are Roulette and Blackjack, which players can now find in the Pokerstars.es poker client.
“PokerStars aims to remain as the number one poker operator in Spain,” PokerStars President of Southern, Gino Appiotti said. “Pokerstars strongly believe that in this market, adding casino games is the best way to serve players.”
The original announcement came back in July, when Pokerstars Spanish subsidiary REEL Spain Plc received two casino licenses, allowing them to serve casino games in the regulated market. Three months later, the games arrived as the games were officially launched and ready to be played on September 30th.
Appiotti believes that the customers in the Spanish market will enjoy their casino games and that it will provide them with a safe and trusted way of playing casino games. The next step is to integrate the same games in the Italian market, which is regulated by AAMS, the italian Gaming Body.
