A poker player from Wrexham qualified to travel to Las Vegas in order to represent his home country Great Britain in a grand tournament.
The award came to Dafydd Jacob after he triumphed in a major championship in Coventry. Next to winning the dream trip, Dafydd was also crowned Number One in this year’s Nuts Poker League Finale held last Saturday.
To secure the title, he won a challenging Texas Hold’em Poker session that went on for over 11 hours. In that final ordeal, Dafydd defeated 212 other contestants.
