Share

The much anticipated release of the new poker client by Bwin.party will finally be a reality in mid-September. The new software update will focus on features for players to socialize with other players, as well as achievement levels to make things more competitive. PartyPoker will be following the latest trend in the poker industry of focusing on casual players.

Bwin.party also wants to increase its share of the mobile gaming market by releasing a new sports betting app later on in the year. The company’s mobile gaming profits are not exactly on par with their main competitors which only serves as incentive to grow more and faster. They only earn about 10% of teir revenues from mobile players. The company’s goal is to increase that figure fivefold by the end of 2015.

Company CEO Norbert Teufelberger said, “Mobile is a big area for us, if we get it right in the next few months, we should be able to win back market share.”
