The world’s largest online gaming brand, Stars Group Inc. (formerly known as Amaya Inc.), that holds 70% of the global poker gaming market has relocated its office in Malta, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.
12% of Malta’s gross domestic product is contributed by the i-gaming industry. Stars Groups started its office in Malta with a handful of employees and currently has more than 300 employees from over 30 countries that work across different departments.
Rafi Ashkenazi, CEO of the company proudly declared to renew the company’s commitment which started in Malta in 2012 and said The Stars Group’s continued growth is a sign that the firm is working to meet the expectations of the clients and world’s favourite i-gaming destination.
Muscat at an event said that the constant growth of Stars’ Groups is the proof of Malta’s efforts to provide a welcoming space for the industries to grow. He further confirmed Malta’s further efforts to make consumers safe while remaining vigilant to meet the demands to make Malta the ultimate gaming destination in Europe.
