After the announciaton in February that PokerStars and Full Tilt would join hands by sharing their player traffic on one network, online pokerplayers were waiting until this would be realized. One week from now the wait will be over.
Head of PokerStars and Full Tilt Public Relations Michael Josem announced in a press conference that he expects that players will be active on just one network from May 17th, when the 2016 SCOOP is almost at its end (May 22nd).
Players of Full Tilt will receive an e-mail within a few days with an explanation which is dependant on multiple factors according to Josem: “In coming days, Full Tilt players will be emailed direct and personal information on how this will affect them specifically, which depends on a variety of factors including their jurisdiction and the status of their PokerStars account (if any).”
Players of Full Tilt who already played on PokerStars will automatically take their loyaltypoints with them. "In many cases, Full Tilt players who already hold a PokerStars account will not need to update any information or transfer their account assets (loyalty points, cash balances etc) which will be transferred automatically to their PokerStars account and they can simply log in to their PokerStars account and enjoy all the great benefits on offer, including even more game choices and bigger tournaments."
