No sign of Caesar’s WSOP poker room

Caesars Entertainment was meant to launch its WSOP online poker room this month aiming to coincide with the live tournament held in Las Vegas last month. However, there’s no sign of the poker room’s launching any time soon.

A few months back, Gary Loveman, Chief Executive Officer of Caesars Entertainment, announced the launching of the online poker room this summer in partner with the London listed 888 Holding software provider.

As the company released its second quarter 2013 figures last week, Loveman added: “While challenging conditions impacted our gaming revenues during the second quarter, we are beginning to observe positive underlying trends resulting directly from the investments we’ve made to enhance our hospitality footprint, particularly in Las Vegas.”

Caesars is one of the 37 companies hoping to receive a license from the Garden State authorities in order to expand its business into the New Jersey market, enabling them to team up with Atlantic City casinos.
