The Westgate Las Vegas is soon opening a poker room again which would have six tables on Wednesday. The Westgate is popularly known for its sportsbook, will host the poker room in the space which had the former sportsbook “fan cave”.
The casino hotel had shut its poker room back in June 2015, soon after Paragon Gaming overtook its casino operations. The hotel too has changed ownerships multiple times during the course, resulting in multiple closing and reopening if poker room.
The management wants the poker room to open up. The poker room would be similar to the fan cave and it has come around the same time as the NFL season. The casino authorities further confirmed that the dining on the table side would be available shortly after the opening.
The casino is expecting to cash on word of mouth for its poker room opening on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. The casino further intends to hold a private tournament next week and is hoping to offer $40 daily tournaments at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
