Poker market is lagging behind the online slots and other games. With the overall Casino revenues seeing a growth in online gaming, poker comes as a disappointment in Atlantic City.
As compared to the Online gaming revenues the previous year in May, a sharp rise of 35 percent was seen in New Jersey.
Unfortunately for the online poker, it was altogether a different story where there was a fall of 17.5 percent, bringing the overall growth down to 27.3 percent.
Ever since the gaming was legalised in 2013 the gap between the revenues has been widening, because poker stands stiffly at its $2 million mark, while the other games keep showing growth every year.
The overall tax collection of the state from online gaming is $100 million which is far more than Delaware or Nevada.
