Middle Tennessee Organizes Charity Flying Poker Run

Share

A flying poker run is planned for Saturday, March 18 by Murfreesboro Aviation in Tennessee. Pilots and their families, along with passengers are eligible to take part in the event.

The airports participating in the initiative are Shelbyville Municipal, Lebanon Municipal, Murfreesboro Municipal, Tullahoma Regional and Warren County Memorial.

The participants in the poker run should fly to each airport (in random order, with Murfreesboro being the last one) and choose a card from a standard deck offered by an authorized member of staff. The event will culminate when everybody presents their cards as a poker hand, and the best card wins.

The entry ticket for the flying poker is $50, and another $250 towards the pot will be provided by Murfreesboro Aviation.

The winner is entitled to half the total amount while the rest of the money will be donated to the Child Advocacy Center of Rutherford County. This is an NGO offering support to child victims of physical abuse as well as children exposed to drug risks.
