The state of Massachusetts is preparing its 2014 budget and as part of the arduos budget negotiations, the state might be open to allowing online poker within its limits. The proposal however would require a very strict list of requirements and would leave some of the bigger online poker companies out of the race. As of yet, the proposed law would only allow 3 companies to compete. Most people's bets are on the 2 most powerful indian tribes which own most of the current gambling in the state.
