Luc Greenwood wins Series Opener £10K NLHE

Series Opener £10K NLHE has been won by Luc Greenwood after defeating Steve O’Dwyer in heads-up. He took home  £119,600.

Luc Greenwood is brother of poker playing brothers Sam Greenwood and Max Gereenwood. The trio played in the $25,000 PokerStars Players NLHE Championship (PSPC) in January this year.

After the, Greenwood said, “I can’t remember the last time I won a tournament. The money is obviously top priority but getting the win is awesome. This whole series has 10 big events and there is nice big trophy for the eventual winner who gets the points throughout the series. So, of course, staring out being on top of the leaderboard is a motivation to stay longer I m definite playing the £10,000 Short Deck event but I can't play the Super High Roller Bowl because I need to be back in Toronto.”

Final Table Results (GBP)

1. Luc Greenwood – £119,600

2. Steve O’Dwyer – £ 72,800

3. Robert Flink – £41,600

4. Sam Grafton – £26,600

5. Robert Flink
