We have reached the final day of the Israel Poker Championship (IPC) and the final nine players who will be battling for the title and the first prize of €20,000 has been found. The players has been through two starting days and a day 2 to reach this stage and there has been lots of great poker and badbeats so far.
A total of 266 players paid the €400 buy-in to participate, shattering all previous records of the IPC. Besides the amazing turn-out from the Israeli players, the local poker community in Malta also showed great support for the tournament, making it possible to create a high-volume tournament for the IPC.
Alongside the Main Event, the IPC has also hosted some side-events with the €200 Pot Limit Omaha being the most popular one. Zurr Shal took home first prize for the third time and won €2,800, in a final table dominated by Israeli players.
The final table play of the main event starts today at 14.00 CET right here on iGaming.org, where our reporter Patric Huemmerich will be covering all the most important hands of the final table until we have crowned a new winner. You can find the live reporting right here.
