The European Poker Tour (EPT) in Prague is set to be one of the biggest live poker festivals ever hosted by Pokerstars, starting on December 7th at the Hilton Prague Hotel and Casino. The EPT will once again join forces with the Eureka Poker Tour and feature a total of 59 unique events, with lots of new tournament formats.
Pokerstars have upped the ante at the EPT Prague, having a total of 228 tournament staff members working at the events, which is a new record for Pokerstars as well as feature more than 140 poker tables, including cash games running around the clock for the players.
“The Prague Poker Festival always attracts a large number of players who play both tournaments and cash games. This year’s festival has potential to be even bigger than last season where both the Eureka and EPT Main Events shattered records.” President of the EPT, Edgar Stuchly said in a press release.
Prague will be the destination of brand new events, including a €50,000 Super High Roller, which is the biggest buy-in for any poker event ever in the Czech Republic. EPT is also introducing Midnight Turbo events, which starts at midnight with buy-ins ranging from €300 to €1,000.
