Poker software developer Cubeia, together with its partner Mirch Entertainment, is planning on launching a real-money, online poker network in India.
The poker network will use the Cubeia software, which is an open-source platform and one of the first full browser-friendly poker clients built entirely on HTML5. HTML5 makes it fully flexible and responsive as well as compatible with most computer and mobile operating systems.
Cubeia Network will also use its own payment processor so both systems will integrate seemslessly. The first operator expected to go live sometime around the last few months of 2013 is Thrill Poker.
Lars J. Nilsson, VP of Cubeia, said in a statement how excited he was about the aunch in India, a new and challenging market for any operator and how he believes the HTML5 client will be a perfect suit for a country which has more mobile device users than computer users.
