Congress submits bill for online poke legalization

Share

An increase in the market for casinos will be the immediate response if the legislation to allow online poker gambling in the United States is approved by Congress.

According to the American Gaming Association (ASA), if the bill is accepted, this industry will achieve $10 billion in return by 2017. So far, $4 billion has been spent on illegal sites.

As state approvals slowly advance, U.S casinos have been delayed to launch online poker sites. Currently, only in the states of Nevada and New Jersey gambling is allowed.
