Apple started offering an app to play at online gambling sites for real money. However, this application might be in breach of Australian federal online gaming laws which has caused a lot fo controversy. Member of the wagering reform commitee, senatorRichard Di Natale said ‘We don’t allow online poker in Australia for Australian people under the Interactive Gambling Act … they [Apple] have got an obligation to take down apps that are against Australian law and they should do it’.
