Pokerview is now the latest in a number of Merge skins to shut down operations. Being 5th in line in a 3 month period, it follows suit to RPM Poker, Hero Poker, Overbet and Iron Duke. The future of the Merge network is looking murkier than ever since Lock Poker, True Poker and Black Chip Poker deserted the network for other competitors. In February, Pokerview had announced a possible sale of its operations to an affiliate site. This deal has most likely not gone through since it seems the skin has been taken over by Merge itself. A notice on the website reads: “PokerView will cease to operate PokerView.com as of 6:00 p.m. (EST) on April 1, 2013..We want to take this moment to assure you that your player funds are secure; and you will have access to your funds and the ability to play on the Merge Gaming Network. All player funds will continue to be managed by Merge Gaming in the usual course.”
