Adrian Mateos, The youngest star in the glittery poker world hails from Spain and is just 22 years old.
He is the youngest player to win three WSOP golden bracelets ever in the history. The Friday night victory came after he topped a field of 129 players in Event #15: $10,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship, making the winning amount $336,656.
Previously Mateos had won the $1500 Summer Solstice bracelet and in 2013 WSOP Europe Main Event by defeating John Smith in the final round. This year too Smith finished runner-up in the event for the second year in a row.
So far, Mateos became the third player this year to win their third bracelet with-in a two day span. Till now, Mateos has won a total $9,172,532 in live tournament earnings with latest victory included in Las Vegas.
