This week has been marked by news of the WSOP poker client being launched by Caesar's Interactive Entertainment, making it the second legal and regulated online poker site in the US. WSOP.com has become quite the milestone for its parent company but there is another company benefiting greatly from this development: 888 Holdings.
The WSOP client is powered by 888 Holdings and uses all the same technology and features found in the 888 Poker software. This includes both the downloadable windows client, the Mac compatible and all mobile compatible versions.
This resulted in 888 sharing in the success of Caesar's entry into the real money poker market in the United States. The agreement between 888 Holdings and Caesar's Interactive Entertainment also includes plans to enter New Jersey the same way it has done in Nevada with WSOP.com. The estimated date for the New Jersey launch is November 23rd.
