A three-legged poker run is set to take place in the Caribbean starting end of May. The event promises to be the biggest nautical happening in the history of the region.

The locations for each event have already been released. The circuit will kick off May 28 in BVI’s Leverick Bay, go on July 2 with the Stars and Stripes in St Thomas’ IGY Yacht Haven Grande Marina, and conclude July 16 in Isle del Sol Yacht Club in St. Maarten.

The winner of all three legs of the run will be awarded the IGY Triple Crown Poker Run Cup and will be entitled to $20,000 in cash and prizes.

Nick Willis, founder of the Leverick Bay Poker Run, reveals that there has so far been unprecedented interest in the tournament. He recalls the first event in the series held back in 2001 when such impressive growth was far from expected. Now the poker run is responsible for attracting numerous tourists to the area as well as supporting local charities.
