Prominent digital currency instant exchange Changelly has introduced support for the coin option WAVES on its platform.
The new service will make it possible for users to trade the coin without having to sign up for a traditional exchange. Moreover, the fact that Changelly also accepts Visa and MasterCard payments further facilitates the process.
In essence, Changelly is an app similar to ShapeShift. It was created in 2015 and operates in the niche of instant exchanges which do not require users to register before trading against an order book. Instead, Changelly aggregates rates from the biggest trading platforms to make a single offer. The instant exchange charges a commission fee of 0.5%.
According to Sasha Ivanov, CEO of Waves, Changelly would provide a speedy and convenient way of buying WAVES, “lowering the barrier for businesses to launch new tokens and use the facilities offered by the Waves platform”.
