The Bitcoin ATM was installed by Australian Bitcoin ATM’s and Chris Guzowski, Head of ABA, told the press that it was their second machine installed and that the first they installed in Sydney had already done hundreds of transactions, worth tens of thousands of dollars in total.
The new two-way Bitcoin ATM’s are very simple to use for people who are new to Bitcoins and can create a new account in less than five minutes for users. Furthermore it can scan the government photo ID and also uses facial recognition to verify it is actually the correct person.
