Polish Hospital to Accept Bitcoin

A private hospital in Poland has opened its doors to cryptocurrency as it decided to accept Bitcoin for every type of treatment they offer. The hospital ran by Medicover Group will soon place a bitcoin ATM to smoothen the process even more so.

While there are already a few smaller organizations in the healthcare field that accept Bitcoin as a currency, Medicover’s on a different level with 8,000 international patients across 20 countries. Their flagship operation, in Poland, now accepts bitcoin and that’s huge step forward in accepting cryptocurrencies worldwide.

If the test at the Warsaw based hospital with bitcoin payment is a success the group considers expanding this option to its other locations. A bitcoin price list of all procedures will be available shortly.
