Manchester City $CITY Fan Token launches on

English Premier League football club Manchester City announced on Friday to have joined forces with to launch a blockchain-based fan engagement token, the $CITY Fan Token.

The launch of the $CITY Fan Token creates a new layer of digital engagement for Manchester City’s global fanbase to bring them closer to their favorite club. City fans all over the world can now use $CITY Fan Tokens to access VIP rewards, promotions, games, AR-enabled features, and voting rights in certain binding and non-binding club polls on

And to top it all off, existing registered Cityzens are eligible to receive a free $CITY token and will receive voucher code to be used on the platform.

Stephan Cieplik, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships Sales, City Football Group, said:

City is not the first Premier League team to have released a fan token on Already in 2019, West Ham United became the first English club to have joined the platform. Other notable European football clubs to have joined are FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Paris SG and AS Roma.
