Large Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Event Takes Place in Prague

The Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Prague, a noteworthy event dedicated to virtual currencies and blockchain technologies, will be hosted by Prague on May 19. Recognized members of the digital currency community, blockchain service providers and decentralized economy proponents will be on the speakers and guests’ lists.

Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference is part of a series of events held in the following European countries: the Czech Republic, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine and Sweden. The last conference from the same sequel was hosted by Moscow in April and featured over 700 attendees.

The Prague event is expected to be the biggest conference so far. This shows the country’s friendly attitude towards cryptocurrencies, which is also portrayed by the fact that many places all over the Czech Republic accept bitcoin as a legitimate source of payment.

The organizers of the event, Smile-Expo, have announced the conference panel topics.  Those will feature cryptocurrency development and blockchain implementation in the Government Technology and Financial Technology sectors, as well as legislative matters in the field.

Jonathan Chester, an entrepreneur and founder of BitWage, is on the keynote speakers’ list. He will discuss how blockchain facilitates the wage payment process and minimizes transaction costs.

Next to the presentations, the conference will also feature an exhibition area showcasing cryptocurrency mining software and hardware as well as payment services and electronic wallets.
