EveryEventGives, a national ticketing platform for independent event planners and non-profit organizations, announced today that their users will now be able to accept Bitcoins as payments for their events and that users can purchase tickets with Bitcoins. It is also possible to pay with regular methods, making them ideal for all sorts of users.
“There are ticketing companies who accept Bitcoin and others who accept dollars, but we seem to be the first to accept both,” EveryEventGives CEO Sean Spence said. “We offer this option as part of our ongoing effort to offer our users any option that might help them succeed.”
Bitcoin payments will automatically be available for all events hosted on the platform and it’s supported by Coinbase’s payments system which automatically converts all Bitcoin payments into fiat-money. This ensures that no problems will occur with conversion rates and that nobody pays too much or too little for the tickets.
EveryEventGives is a free easy way for independent event planners to sell tickets and $0.5 of every ticket sold goes to a charity of the event planners choice.
