Coinbase, a leading digital asset exchange company recently stated its support for Litecoin which, by market capitalization, is the fourth most valuable cryptocurrency. This integration is part of Coinbase’s latest strategy to support more types of digital assets.
This integration will allow users to buy and sell, send and store Litecoin currency via the website and mobile apps.
Ankur Nandwani, Product Manager at Coinbase recently said: “At Coinbase, our mission is to create an open financial system for the world. We’re paving our path to that goal by creating the most trusted and easiest way to buy/sell digital currency. With the addition of Litecoin, one of the most trusted and popular digital currencies, we are moving one step closer to our goal”.
GDAX which is a US digital asset exchange by Coinbase, as recently as March this year, also announced its support for Litecoin. This digital currency is now available for New York traders.
