Vogogo, the payment processing compliance and fraud mitigation specialist company, announced today that they have signed an agreement with Canada’s biggest Bitcoin exchange Cavirtex as well as with Bitcoin Brains and Taurus Exchange.

Bitcoin Brains is a physical exchange based in Calgary, while Taurus Exchange is a more secure way of trading with multi-signature wallet technology.

The three companies are expected to integrate Vogogo’s payment processing and risk management platform which will allow them to make seamless transactions between fiat money and Bitcoins in Canada and the US and with EU processing arriving in Q1 of 2015. Vogogo spend most of 2014 making their system ready for cryptocurrencies and will now integrate all of their crypto customers.

Vogogo CEO Geoff Gordon said of the announcement, “Being the chosen provider of payment processing and risk management services by well established crypto-exchanges as well as the new and emerging players in the industry, I believe, speaks to our capabilities and reputation. We look forward to working with these teams and helping them to unlock new and lucrative markets during 2015.”

“Our focus is making it easy for Canadians to seamlessly transition between bitcoin and the Canadian Dollar.” said Joseph Onorati, CEO of CAVIRTEX. “As Canada’s largest and most trusted digital currency exchange, we are always looking for services that enhance our offering. By integrating Vogogo with our platform we are making bitcoin more accessible to Canadians.”
