Cardano’s (ADA) community long-awaited announcement arrived on Friday. Coinbase has finally listed ADA on its platform. The cryptocurrency is now available to trade in all supported regions.
Coinbase made the announcement on Twitter, Friday at 13:06ET:
“ADA is now live on http://Coinbase.com and in the Coinbase iOS and Android apps. Coinbase customers can log in now to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store ADA.”
Users will be able to buy, sell, convert, receive and store the funds in ADA. exchange will offer the following trading pairs ADA/USD, ADA/BTC, ADA/EUR, ADA/GBP.
For its Pro service, according to Coinbase’s announcement, trading will be launched in 3 phases until full trading is reached. Coinbase will apply its trading rules and may suspend or stop the service if there is no “orderly market”.
Following Coinbase’s announcement, ADA rose nearly 3.2% and the cryptocurrency has seen a 15.3% increase in the last week. ADA is currently the third-largest cryptocurrency, with a market capitalization of roughly $41 billion.
