One of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange sites BTC-e announced in a press release on their website that they will be integrating multi-currency accounts for their traders, allowing them to trade in other currencies than USD, which has been the only choice for account holders so far.
Traders on the platform that uses MetaTrader 4 will now be able to create accounts in currencies such as EUR, CHN, RUB and GBP and trade Bitcoins, Namecoin, Litecoin and Peercoin using these currencies and save the conversion rates they would usually have when transferring funds from their accounts in USD to their MetaTrader accounts in another currency.
“The new accounts have exactly the same benefits and trading conditions as MT accounts denominated in USD. The only difference is that Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin, EUR, GBP, RUB and CHN will be used as the “base asset” to display balance, profit and other parameters of your trading account in Meta Trader 4 (MT4).” a statement on their website read.
Traders will be able to open multiple trading accounts, allowing them to trade in different currencies, deposit, trade and withdraw to completely avoid any conversion fees and increase their profits. Accounts will still be subject to small withdrawal and deposit fees, but it will be a lot less than previously.
