Bitcoin Trading App Now Live on MS Phone 8

Kraken, an application for Windows Phone 8 which allows users to trade in cryptocurrencies, has received approval from Microsoft to feature Bitcoin, making it the first ever application to do so on this phone OS platform.

Kraken was missing Bitcoin when it first launched, and only allowed users to view live rates of many other cryptocurrencies and to configure a live tile placing the latest rates for cryptocurrency pairs.

Leon Cullens, the developer of the application, has since released many updates for the app. The latest of these allowed users to open new trades from the app itself, including Bitcoin, and Microsoft gave it the OK allowing Cullen to let the app go live.
