Although, Asus didn’t pitch out the cards as specifying them for cryptocurrency the release is certainly aimed at capturing the interest of the Ethereum miners, as cards are designed to handle the energy and heat intensive process of mining revealed by Asus. The cards are the Mining RX 470 and Mining P106.
As per the reports, Asus’s new cards are engineered especially for coin mining, providing maximum mega hash rates at the lowest cost.
The maddening interest in the cryptocurrency mining led to the shortage of GPYs from the global market. Not only the local stores suffered a shortage, in fact; the online market giants like Amazon, Newegg, eBay too suffered a shortage in stocks of these graphics cards.
