The monthly revenue report for casinos in Northwest Indiana for the month of June released last week by the Indiana Gaming Commission. It was revealed the five casinos in the state had a collection of over $75 million, which was a little over 6% from the previous year’s earnings during the same month of $70.96 million.

Of the five casinos in the Northwest region of the state, three saw the increase in revenue for June while other two saw a slight drop in earnings. A jump from $16.38 million in the earnings in 2016 to $17.81 million was earned by Ameristar Casino in the month of June in 2017. It is quite a significant figure compared to the year-over-year totals.

Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City too had a rise in revenue earnings in June with revenue going up from $12.49 million in 2016 to $13.05 million in June of 2017. For the Horseshoe Hammond, it was more than 11% increase with the figures rising from $29.18 million last year to this year’s earnings of $32.33 million.

The Majestic Star casinos took the downhill road. The Majestic stars collected a total $7.32 million, down from the $7.50 million earned in 2016 and Majestic Star II was down from $5.41 million in June 2016 to $4.68 million this year.
