Two men arrested after a brawl in Casino over the weekend

Two young men have been arrested after a brawl in the Casino CBD. As per the Police, two Casino men aged 22 and 24 were involved in an argument with some people in the car parking of a Casino service station at 08:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

According to Richmond LAC Facebook post this morning, a man was tackled to the ground and two men, the 22 and 24 year old, then kicked and punched him in the head while he was defenseless. Both the men then fled the scene.

Both the men were however arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and affray. The 22 year old man was initially refused bail by police but later got conditional bail by court. He will appear in Casino Local Court in October.

The 24-year-old was granted conditional bail and will appear at Casino Local Court in November.
