Tivoli Receives LGA License Approval for Online Casino Site

One of the biggest attractions for anyone visiting Copenhagen in Denmark, is to go and see Tivoli which is the amusement park located in the heart of Copenhagen. A few years ago they decided to expand their portfolio and build a casino and hotel inside the amusement park, locating a second casino in Copenhagen.

With the success that Tivoli had in the land-based casino, it was only natural for them to create an online version of their casino to ensure that as many people as possible could enjoy the experience. Now Tivoli has gotten an approval from the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta and have received their license to operate their international casino site.

Tivoli decided to go with the Maltese LGA due to them being a EU country and thus having to follow the transparent and strict legislative regulations as well as anti-fraud and money-laundering laws and tax rules. To be able to operate under this new Maltese LGA license, Tivoli has created a new company in Malta who will take care of everything regarding the brand and operation.

“Tivoli is an international brand and with the new international casino license, casino players outside Denmark can play in TivoliCasino.com. It is a strong pat on the back and recognition of our work that only two years after the successful opening of tivolicasino.dk we have been awarded an international gaming license. With the permit in hand, new prospects and revenue opportunities will appear, which will benefit both the amusement park and the business Tivoli”, Said Lars Liebst, CEO of Tivoli.
