Senaca Nation of Indians receives ultimatum

Share

The Senaca Nation of Indians has until the third week of June to figure out their $600 million casino revenue-sharing altercate with the state as Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has given them an ultimatum.

Cuomo stated he is not positive that the Senacas will clear the dispute before the State Legislature end its session June 20. If this is so, this is the moment where lawmakers wish to have a definite casino expansion plan to vote on and that the issue can go to a statewide referendum.
