Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh set a personal record this weekend, when a man won an impressive $260,767 jackpot while playing one of the casino's 2,900 slot machines. The win was a new record win for the casino, as the previous biggest jackpot win was a mere $182,966, making this win almost 50% bigger.
The winner wants to remain anonymous, but told to the press that he won the jackpot while he was playing the $1 Quick hit Platinum slot machine inside the casino. He noticed that the reels aligned as they should, but had to take a deep breath before realizing that he had just won the massive amounts of money.
Bud Green, Rivers Casino Assistant General Manager had the following comment about the win: “We’ve had several big winners recently, but it’s always exciting to set a new record. Our team enjoys celebrating with guests when we’re able to payout a big jackpot. Congrats to our latest winner!”
Since the opening of Rivers Casino back in 2009, the casino has awarded players a total of $406 million in jackpot prizes to players, which means that players have received more than $1,200 in prizes from a game.
