The idea has been around for a while and the success of other similar projects has prompted small, procedural steps in the Pennsylvania Senate comittee which agreed to look into and study the possibility of regulating online gambling in the state. The proposal still needs to pass full senate vote, but it is expected to encounter little to none resistance.
