Paddy Power to obtain gambling license in New Jersey

With New Jersey soon to legalise internet gambling activities this November, bookmaker Paddy Power is in the run for obatining a gambling license in the state. With a guaranteed €300 million a year market or even more, its certainly a smart move to settle down in the United States. Paddy Power, same as other reknown US casinos, have applied for this license, definitely a gold mine.

Communications director of Paddy Power, said they are waiting for things to take place soon. “We have applied for the licence to be in there, and we’ll then see what is viable. We’re putting ourselves in position.”

Last year, the bookmaker applied for a gambling license in Nevada, however, operations haven’t progressed yet.
