According to the State of the States (a yearly report by the American Gaming Association), Pennsylvania is the second-highest-grossing casino state, only a few points behind from the legendary leader, Nevada.
The state has also managed to strategically obtain tax dollars from gamblers and casinos, accumulating $1.5 billion in casino taxes in 2012. This figure represents twice as much of the amount collected by Nevada.
