The Oracle Casino in Malta is the smallest of the three located on the island, which taking its 400,000-500,000 population into consideration, is quite a lot of casinos placed within a radius of 30 kilometers. The casino is owned by the Tumas Group who also runs the biggest casino in the island, The Casino at Portomaso, and is located in a tourist hotspot.

The refurbishment has been decided as the casino is part of a hotel with high standards, which the casino no longer lived up to. So the management decided to completely renew everything on the inside to ensure that it stays up to date. The casino have around 250,000 visitors yearly and it will be the first major refurbishment since it opened up its doors in 1998.

Besides refurbishing most of the casino, the management also decided to build a new sports lounge inside the casino, which will have 13 screens that shows sports from all over the world. Furthermore there will be added two new bars, improved disabled access and also new slot machines for the players who love them.

“Our philosophy, as a hotel-based casino, has always been to offer an entertainment destination for adults, offering a holistic experience rather than merely a gaming environment,”  CEO of Tumas Gaming, Yorgen Fenech said.
