Optimal Payments and Ontario Lottery and Gaming in Partnership Agreement

Optimal Payments and Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) has signed a new partnership agreement, allowing Optimal Payments to provide their NetBanx service to OLG the next five years. Optimal Payments were chosen ahead of many competitors, after OLG had done in-depth security checks and other looked at the features of the product.

OLG are about to launch their online version of their products, called PlayOLG. The site will offer lottery games, casino and video poker games to people residing inside of Ontario. The deal between OLG and Optimal Payments means that the users will have NetBanx integrated as a payment method and Optimal Payments will also be in charge of detecting fraud and money laundering.

“PlayOLG will be the only regulated internet gaming option in Ontario. PlayOLG will return profits to the government of Ontario to help fund provincial priorities,” Senior Vice President of Charitable and iGaming, George Sweny said in a press release.  “Optimal Payments’ NETBANX system will assist PlayOLG in offering an iGaming solution that is entertaining, exciting and focused on customer service, safety and security.”

Optimal Payments will deliver a simple to use platform for OLG to use, which has been approved by regulatory authorities and offers all the security features needed to run an online gambling site. Optimal Payments is overall a very popular company in the rest of the world, where thousands of online gambling sites, as well as merchants, have integrated their solution into their payments portfolio.
