During this year's EIG conference in Barcelona, the results of a new and interesting research were revealed, which sheds some light into the gambling market's habits and happenings within the United Kingdom.
The survey, titled "Awareness, attitudes and motivations - UK Mobile Gambling 2013" utilized a sample group of 2000 online and mobile gambling consumers. It was conducted in July of thisyear by Clarion Events and Vivid Interface. The focus of the survey were players on any of the many sports betting, casino, poker and bingo platforms available to UK players.
The questions asked, related to motivation, usage, influence, brands, playing habits, spending habits and multiple account usage as well as platform cross-over. The research also examines habits by mobile gambling players according to social and demographic qualities.
